Making our Community a Priority to the City by Uniting our Voices
3-1-1 is the phone number we have been given by the city to request action. We have been informed by our Alderman's office that calls made to 3-1-1 are given priority based on the number of calls placed about any certain issue. A new section on this web page will be dedicated to give our community a place to unite and to make our community a priority to the city. If there is any issues that you would like taken to the city, place a call to 3-1-1, email the issue to us at info@dgca.ca and it will be put up on the website. Everyone can call 3-1-1 about the issues you and they feel is important. Make sure to check in often to see if there is any new issues that you can place calls to 3-1-1 about.
There are issues we do care about but we haven't yet put them to words. This will be a way for us to see how others in our community have put words to our concerns and to join together to make them happen. (This being said, if the concern is not shared by many in the community then not enough calls will be made and the concern.) Issues can range from getting a crosswalk installed or having the snow removed from your street.
